The Plates and Pints Menu at World of Beer + Giveaway

Corey and I recently ventured out to the U.S. to visit family and friends for a couple of weeks. During our trip, we were lucky to experience the best parts of autumn in Georgia like the cool, crisp air, the vibrant foliage and the fall-inspired restaurant dishes and drinks. It’s making me feel all warm inside just thinking about it!

The folks at World of Beer must feel the same way about fall, as they created their first “Plates and Pints” menu with dishes featuring seasonal ingredients and recommended beer pairings.

Some of these dishes include:

The Dogfish Head meatloaf sliders, made with a mixture of pork and beef and smothered in a Dogfish Head Indian Brown Ale-based gravy.

The Habanero pumpkin spice wings, covered with a sweet and spicy glaze that includes Jamaican allspice, cinnamon, brown sugar, Habanero chilies and nutmeg.

The Southwest skillet cornbread, served in a cast-iron skillet and topped with regional flavors like peppers, corn and queso fresco.

  1. I’ve been to WOB a few times and it’s a nice, chill spot to hangout at. And the food is pretty good, so that always helps. My favorite part of fall is wearing sweatshirts and oversized sweaters, and drinking while watching football with my friends and LSs.

    • Erica and Coredelle says:

I love sweatshirts! Really wish I could have gotten the one for homecoming, but it’s way too hot here for that 🙁

  2. We live in the northeast GA mountains, so my favorite part of fall is watching the forest change. Leaf season, cool weather and Oktoberfest in Helen. Awwww!

  3. Love the fall in Georgia! My favorite things about fall are pumpkin candles (so basic, I know), watching the leaves change color and getting ready for the holidays. It’s been so fun to keep up with your travels on the blog! Miss you!

  4. I Love the changing of the leaves.

  5. I love the change of weather and cozy sweaters.

  6. My favorite part about the fall is the cooler weather and spending afternoons outside.

  7. OMG! The dishes sound delish! Want to try the Dogfish Head meatloaf sliders!
